Hunting - Accommodation and Daily Rates

Luxurious and modern fully equipped self-catering two bedroom chalets available at R700 pp per day for hunters (Minimum 2 hunters) and non-hunters R450 pp per day. Price includes hunting vehicle, Licensed Professional hunter OR Tracker, camp staff, Limited wood supply for Boma, Slaughtering, and cold room facilities.

• Minimum 2-night stay. A 100% accommodation deposit is required to secure a booking.

• All chalets have full DStv.

• Meals - Self-catering but Brunch and Dinner can be arranged.

Bush camp is available for R450 pp per day for Hunters and R300 for non-hunters. There are Cabins 3 cabins sleep 5 and 1 cabin sleep 2 (with toilet and w/basins). Treetop house with 5 rooms (sleep 2 each) Booking the camp will be private and only for your own party. Open kitchen lapa, Outside shower, Toilets, Bathroom, Boma, Pool (make your own warm water) and deck with half the deck under cover, clean drinking water, electricity. 

Payment for hunting is cash or EFT as per prior arrangement.

Terms & Conditions

No smoking will be allowed in rooms or in any building

When smoking, please be careful as veld fires can be very dangerous for us all

No Ketties or air guns allowed on the premises. No pets allowed

A quota of firewood will be supplied, please use it wisely. Additional Firewood can be purchased

Nature and wildlife is valuable - please do not litter

Use of own vehicle not permitted

Day hunters are hunters for the total duration

Hunters are responsible for their shot animals and are advised to oversee the slaughter process at all times.

Before any shot is fired the hunter is obliged to ensure that:

The proposed shot not endanger any person, animal or property

The species of animal may indeed be hunted

The animal conforms to all requirements set by the professional hunter/guide.

All hunters will be accompanied by a Professional hunter at all times

Hunters will be responsible for the safe handling of their firearms. Firearms must be unloaded and made safe while on vehicles and in the non-hunting area. All firearms must be properly licensed.

Wounded animals shall be charged at the full rate. ( Any signs suggesting that an animal may have been wounded such as blood, fur, Pensmis/Intestines, Horn fragments, etc). If an animal cannot be proved wounded then 50% of the species shot at will be payable at the discretion of the PH.

All hunters are required to sign a Release and Indemnity agreement on arrival and prior to entering the Lodge

Only ethical hunting in the true spirit will be allowed

A maximum of 2 hunters at any one time with a licensed professional hunter and a Guide will be provided

Hunting is from sunrise to sunset only

All hunting must be on foot in hunting areas that are at least 500 m from base camp.

No hunter will be allowed to hunt under the influence of alcohol.

The hunter is the one who pulls the trigger and thus responsible for the species shot.

No caliber smaller than .243 or 6mm allowed

All firearms must be functioning properly and to be zeroed on the farm in presence of the PH.

No solid points.

All firearms will be locked in a safe after the hunt

The use of the butchery equipment will be free except for the cost of the blades.
